Ways Dads Can Get Self-Care

When you’re mentally healthy you make more financially sound decisions. Here are some ways to make sure you invest in your mental health:

  • Invest in a gym membership: dopamine is more than a myth dads–it can boost your physical and mental health. Take the weight of the world off your shoulders and put it on the treadmill at the gym
  • Self-care days – these aren’t exclusively for moms, dads need them too! Consistently schedule time to do something that makes you feel relaxed and centered be it time with the boys or monthly massages,
  • Get a therapist – first check out the GreenBook, next check out therapy for black men. org and/or latinxtheraphy.com.

If you feel the weight of the world is on your shoulders, it’s certainly time to check out therapy. We love you dads!
